FNAF 3
About FNAF 3
FNAF 3 – Five Nights at Freddy’s 3 is an indie survival horror game developed by Scott Cawthon and released on March 2, 2015. Set 30 years after Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza closed, the game takes place in Fazbear’s Fright, a horror attraction inspired by the restaurant’s dark history. But when an old animatronic is discovered, the attraction becomes far more terrifying than anyone expected.
One Enemy, Endless Pressure
Unlike earlier games in the series, FNAF 3 has only one animatronic that can directly kill you: Springtrap. Hiding William Afton’s remains, this decayed figure begins hunting you from Night 2 onward.
There are no doors to hide behind. You must track Springtrap through security cameras and use audio cues to lure him away from your office. Lose track of him for too long, and he could be right outside your door.
The Phantom animatronics add to the pressure. Phantom Freddy, Chica, Foxy, and Balloon Boy cannot kill you directly, but their jumpscares can trigger system failures at the worst possible moments. Every distraction gives Springtrap another chance to get closer.
When the Building Works Against You
Your goal is to survive until 6 AM, but keeping Fazbear’s Fright running is no easy task. Cameras help you monitor Springtrap, audio devices can lure him away, and ventilation keeps you from suffering hallucinations.
The problem is that these systems can fail. When they do, you must restart them while Springtrap continues to move. Spend too long fixing a malfunction, and you might lose sight of him. Every decision matters when you have several problems to handle at once.
What Makes FNAF 3 Different?
- Springtrap is the only one who can kill you directly.
- No doors to hide behind. Cameras and audio lures are all you've got.
- Phantoms jumpscare you not to kill, but to wreck your systems and leave you exposed.
- Cameras, audio, ventilation they all fail. Fix them fast, but don't lose track of Springtrap while you do.
Two Endings, One Dark Secret
Beat the five main nights and you get the Bad Ending. For the Good Ending, find hidden minigames and complete their secret objectives to free the trapped children's spirits.
Springtrap closing in, systems failing FNAF 3 tests your attention and timing. The hidden minigames also reward digging deeper into the story beyond the main nights.
