How To Play Danganronpa

Talk to the Other Students

You’ll spend time talking to your classmates between major story events. Get to know them, ask questions, and see how they react to what’s happening around them. Some conversations may seem ordinary at first, but a character’s words could become important when you’re trying to work out what really happened.

Investigate the Crime Scene

When someone is murdered, it’s time to look for clues. Check the room carefully, examine objects, and listen to what other students have to say. Sometimes the first suspect seems obvious, but the clues may point to someone else. Check the details against what each student says before deciding who to blame.

Take Part in Class Trials

The Class Trial is where you put the clues together and decide which student is responsible. You’ll hear everyone’s side of the story, but some explanations won’t hold up once you compare them with the evidence. Compare their statements with the evidence you found, point out contradictions, and work out who’s lying before the trial reaches its conclusion.

What Makes Danganronpa Interesting?
