Scary Horror Game is a first-person horror game about exploring creepy places and trying to stay alive. You’ll move through abandoned asylums, dark forests, and old mansions with only a flashlight. There are no weapons, so you have to watch where you go, listen for sounds, and hide when a monster gets too close.

How To Play Scary Horror Game

Before you start running from monsters in Scary Horror Game, take a little time to understand the two modes. You won’t play both modes the same way.

Escape Mode

In Escape Mode, you need to find a way out. Look for keys, figure out puzzles, and unlock the doors blocking your path. If a monster starts chasing you, forget about exploring and get to the exit.

Survive Mode

In Survive Mode, there’s no need to rush to an exit. Your job is to stay alive until help arrives. You never know when a monster might show up. If one gets too close, find somewhere to duck out of sight. If a creature is nearby, it’s often better to wait than try to sneak past it.

Survival Decisions in Scary Horror Game

The Darkness Isn't Your Only Enemy

In Scary Horror Game, the dark can make things tough, but it’s not your biggest problem. Your flashlight can die at the worst time, and a weird noise might mean a monster is right around the corner. It’s also pretty easy to get lost when every room starts looking the same.

There’s no gun or weapon here, so you have to make do with what you find. Check the rooms, keep some flashlight power, and don’t be afraid to hide. If something sounds wrong, take a second before walking straight into it.
